research into conventions...

As a team, we decided to look a bit into common conventions of film openings. We started off by researching the the common ones, and made a mind-map. It's not very beautiful, but it gets the job done:))

In this mind-map, we also included different kinds of film openings just to help organize everything into one place. We aren't sure exactly what kind of film opening we want to do yet, but we decided to choose which conventions we want to be included.

We want to include:

• studio name and logo

• starring actors

• music

• editor

• "based on"

These are all definitely going to be included in our film opening, but throughout the process we may choose to include other conventions as well.
